Centennial Medical Center is currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) – Women’s & Children’s Ambulatory Surgery. 

  

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, record, and report symptoms orchanges in Patients’ conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with teammembers of operative and other procedural areas for safe effective care ofpatients as well as “on time” case starts.
• Record patients’ medical informationand vital signs. 
• Order, interpret, and evaluatediagnostic tests to identify and assess patients condition.
• Modify patient treatment plans asindicated by patients’ responses and conditions.
• Direct or supervise less-skillednursing or healthcare personnel or supervise a particular unit.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcareteam members to assess, plan, implement or evaluate patient care plans.
• Instruct individuals, families, orother groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention and assistwith development of health improvement programs.
• Prepare patients for and assist with examinationsor treatments.
• Prepare and educate patient ondischarge instructions.
• Participate in developing departmentgoals/objectives and employee engagement action planning.
• Participate in staff meetings andattends other meetings and seminars/professional development as requested bymanager. 
• Participate in all aspects of patient,equipment and hospital safety.
• Supportsthe facility’s Standards of Performance, Patient Promise and ICARE values.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• RN licensure by Tennessee Board ofNursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.  
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• PALS from the American HeartAssociation required within six months of employment.
• Med/Surg Experience

Military:  66H, 66N, 46NX
