Responsibilities

• Drives development of strategy, vision, and roadmap for attaining effective and efficient authentication controls.
• Analyzes and resolves complex authentication, integration, and automation issues.
• Establishes AD security architecture and strategies
• Work closely with technology and business stakeholders across Change Healthcare and associated organizations
• Lead cross-functionally to accelerate the development and deployment of new security features
• Proactively identify and resolve challenges and issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, business, and technical goals
• Securely manage authentication and authorization solutions for on premise and cloud solutions.
• Lead security projects from initial conception through design, testing and implementation.
• Evaluate vendor solutions to ensure they meet technology and cloud standards, as well as all applicable architecture considerations.
• Take part in an after-hours on-call support rotation and implement solutions, patching and deployment activities after hours as needed.
• Defines and leads in the design of programs that support and align with engineering requirements for evolving security services, mechanisms, and safeguards.
• Develops metrics that demonstrate the current risk state, indicators of progress, and directory services business alignment.
• Engages with development teams during operational security reviews and provides leadership and security design guidance.
• Monitors technology and security developments and ensures the company’s security framework follows industry best practices.
• Advanced understanding of standard identity management tools, technologies, and processes.
• Plays a key and influential role working with others, in groups, in cross-functional settings and with diverse stakeholders internally and externally.

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Security, Engineering or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in a system engineering and/or security engineering role
• 5+ years of focused experience on a team dedicated to Active Directory Domain Services
• 5+ years of experience with engineering and operational support
• 5+ years of experience with Windows security, delegation of permissions, and group policy management
• 5+ years of experience with Windows Server 2012 or 2016 Active Directory
• 3+ years of relevant IAM experience in an engineering role
• 5+ years of experience supporting Active Directory in a cloud hosted environment from AWS, Microsoft, or Google
• MSCE and CISSP preferred
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position and must be eligible for federal security clearance.
• Must be able to pass a federal background check
• Must be located within the United States.

Required Knowledge and Skill

• Strong knowledge of information security and IAM principles and practices
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Strong understanding of standard identity management tools, technologies, and processes
• Proven analytical thinking, skills in metrics creation and project management, attention to details, and exceptional organizational skills
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience leading large security access system upgrades/projects
• Advanced understanding of IAM solutions and related technologies including Azure AD, Identity Management Solutions, Kerberos, LDAP, claims, group and role mapping, PKI, PIM, DNS, DHCP and GPO implementations.
• Strong understanding of PCI-DSS 2.0, FISMA/CMS/NIST 800-53a, EHNAC, SOX and HIPAA
• Ability to lead complex projects
• Ability to mentor and support junior administrators
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
