LMS Administrator

The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator is responsible for continued improvement and maintenance of the LMS platform and other sites supporting the Learning and Development Group. Special focus on effective delivery of eLearning courses, mobile applications, video shorts or other innovative approaches leveraged as part of Acceptance University. The LMS Administrator ensures accurate course assignment, user uploads, user group creation and maintenance, bi-annual course library review and update and timely management of inbound support requests.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develops and maintains the LMS platform to meet all regulatory and compliance needs and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data
  • Interacts with LMS vendors and content partners to troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Responsible for LMS maintenance including managing user groups, hierarchies and data feed from internal sources
  • Responsible for assigning new, dynamic and annual refresher course assignments to meet specific compliance and department training needs
  • Responsible for auditing training compliance, stakeholder reporting and content management
  • Maintains documentation integrity to ensure accuracy, quality, version control, and distribution processes. Reviews and catalogs library to ensure e Learning courses, videos and printed materials are easy to identify, access, and updated for all programs
  • Provides technical support to all user communities which included e-mail, phone support and training mailbox inquiries
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in adult learning, English or other related field and/or equivalent related work experience
  • 3-5 years LMS experience (Cornerstone strongly preferred)
  • Proven project management, technical writing and digital content management experience
  • High level competency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Products
  • Experience with video editing using Camtasia software
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Familiarity with Flash, HTML/HTM5 and Java Script is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
  • Strong time management and project management skills
  • Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare/deliver data analysis
