Local medical office currently seeking Breast Ultrasonographers.  

POSITION:

Full-time and Part-time Breast Ultrasonographers needed for OB-GYN office located downtown Nashville. 

TYPE: Full-time & Part-time

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

This position holds accountability for timely management and processing of all clinical related support duties such as, but not limited to: completing and/or preparing and assisting the physician in ultrasounds; thereby, maintaining a high degree of accuracy in positioning, scan and exposure technique; while maintaining knowledge about protection and safety; and demonstrated understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Additionally, instructs patients on proper physiological requirements for procedure and obtains essential information from the patient which may include ascertaining previous scans/reports for clinical correlation.

In addition, this position holds accountability to work collectively within their team and operations to support any needs or duties as assigned by their direct supervisory team, including front office administrative support.

 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

1.     Education: Graduate of an accredited ultrasound educational program and registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ADRMS).
2.     Experience: Prefer no less than 1-year post-graduate experience. Must demonstrate a history of success in working in a fast paced, changing and demanding environment. Well organized, accurate, efficient and flexible.
3.     Language: Excellent oral communication and phone skills. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and medical/patient reports. Ability to write correspondence and memos. Ability to present information in a one on one and small group situations.
4.     Reasoning Ability: Excellent analytical skills, ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions; use good judgement and decision making.
