Demolition Superintendent

Responsibilities:

  • Management and Coordination of Trucking Fuel, Equipment, Rentals, Maintenance and Repairs.

  • Project Documentation to include daily reports, demolition plans, equipment maintenance reports, project documentation and time sheets.

  • Daily coordination with Project Managers and General Contractor Superintendents.

  • Coordination and sequencing of all structural demolition.

  • Coverage of equipment operator when not available.

  • Travel to all locations for projects that would require employment functions.

  • Coordination of locations and cost savings for inert debris disposal.

  • Continuing education of structural demolition tactics to include torch burning and dismantlement.

Requirements:

  • Familiar with a wide range of heavy equipment and how they interact during the demolition process.

  • Ability to read and interpret Construction Drawings and Specifications.

  • Problem solving/troubleshooting ability.

  • Able to work well as a team player and communicate with all field personnel and management.

  • Construction and job costing experience.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with an attention to detail and a commitment to follow-through.
