Full-Time, Daysor Nights

(3) 12-hour shifts

What You Will Do

In Tennessee, Ascensions Saint Thomas Health operates nine hospitals in addition to a comprehensive network of affiliated joint ventures, medical practices, clinics and rehabilitation facilities covering a 68-county area and employing more than 8,000 associates. Across the state, Saint Thomas Health provides a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services. The clinical programs and medical facilities are continuously updated to meet both the changing needs of the community and the challenges posed by innovations in technology.

In this position, your home base will be the Saint Thomas Midtown or Saint Thomas West. Your primary job summary will be to provide direct nursing care for patients with life-threatening medical conditions. This unit provides an exciting opportunity for RNs who are flexible, energetic, compassionate, and looking for new challenges in a supportive environment considered. You will play a vital role by ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate care, and taking initiative on opportunities to educate and provide care instructions.

What You Will Need

Experienced nurses – we have a place for you. In these temporary assignments, our nurses will be expected to hit the ground running. As such, highly prefer 2 years experience in the desired specialty area.

Required Credentials:

• BLS Providercredentialed from theAmerican Heart Association (AHA)obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Registered Nursecredentialed from theTennessee Board of Nursingor current home state license for multi-state license recognition “Compact State”obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing.
