Centurion is proud to be the provider of medical services to the Tennessee Department of Correction. 

 

We are currently seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant to join our team at Tennessee Prison for Women located in Nashville, Tennessee.

Available Shift

Monday – Friday; 32 hours day shift

Responsibilities

The Nursing Assistant works under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Responsibilities include assisting patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification required
• Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain TDOC security clearance required
• Training, experience, or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician, or mental health worker preferred
• One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency, or correctional setting preferred
