There is a current Software Developer role available with one of Robert Half Technology’s clients. The ideal candidate for this position will effectively be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company. This full-time employment opportunity is based in the Nashville, Tennessee area.

– Unite with Scrum team to furnish accurate work estimates

– We need a candidate who can maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems

– Diagnose and contribute production support

– Provide clear and consistent communication around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams

– Consistently enact code-review and join up with other developers

– Potential for one day a week remote case-by-case situations after probationary period – Typically onsite M-F 8-5PM

Job Requirements:
– Less than one year of experience required – Applicants with familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database) are strongly preferred – Applicants with familiarity with scrum are preferred – Applicants with experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc., are preferred – Proven knowledge of T-SQL – Wide ranging experience with JavaScript – C++ experience preferred – C Sharp Programming (C#) experience – Quality experience with CSS – Foundational knowledge in C# – General familiarity with Front-End Web Development – T-SQL experience – .NET C++ experience – Practical knowledge of HTML – Well-founded grasp of Transact-SQL – We are particularly looking for candiates who can write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments – We are particularly looking for candidates with knowledge of education standards such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF – Applicants with experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc. are preferred. – Prior experience integrating with API backends
