The Database Analyst is responsible for helping maintain and adjust store attachments in a relationship based database. The Database Analyst collaborates across departments to maximize accuracy for product and planogram distribution; works to ensure each store has the correct planogram footage for their individual needs; provides category and sub-category information to ensure each buying team can effectively plan product assortments; provides reports in order to manage and understand potential issues related to field initiated POG changes; and helps to create and review exception reporting. Additionally, this position will work directly with the Space Planning Team to ensure accurate planogram allocation to stores.
- Adjust and review the store associated planogram attachments that align to the buying needs specific to cluster programs and procurement requirements related to: Planogram resets, Planogram updates (cut-ins), Footage Change Requests and Special Projects
- Understand, adjust, and communicate POG dependencies/rule sets in order to manage the store to planogram attachments
- Collaborate across departments to maximize accuracy for product and planogram distribution at store level
- Gather and execute store level changes through the footage change request form to ensure that each store has the correct Planogram footage for their individual needs.
- Provide Category and Sub-Category information so that the buying team can effectively plan product assortments
- Provide initial store lists so that the initial product order will be in alignment with the product and planogram distribution at store level
- Provide reports related to POG attachment changes in order to manage and understand potential issues related to field initiated POG changes.
- Help to create and review exception reporting
- Assist with interdepartmental data sharing responsibilities
- Assist with special projects as needed
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Ability to multi-task and have flexibility

- Excellent communicate skills — verbal and written
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college preferred
- 1 + years of experience working in a business related environment
- Experience with JDA Software systems a plus
Language Ability Requirements
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Math Ability Requirements
Basic math skills for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as fractions, percentages, and ratios and to apply these concepts to practical situations.
