Our direct client is seeking an Linux/Unix System Administrator for a 6 month plus contract. The Linux/Unix Role involves senior level troubleshooting / Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for areas including: In depth Operating systems Administration Knowledge Must have strong Red Hat LINUX Administration(7/6/5) Must have strong Solaris administration 5.11/10/9 Strong OS concepts, OS kernel patching and network (NGNI) knowledge Expert level in SVM/VxVM/ZFS and LVM Experience in VCS/RedHat cluster Experience in LDOM and Zones and strong debugging skills Experience in SAN and NAS storage Shell or other scripting Experience on server Migration, Solaris and Linux OS Build/imaging. Knowledge on hardware/product which includes copper/fiber links(1G and 10G) Knowledge on middleware, web application and databases Interact with internal teams and external 3rd party vendors to trouble shoot and resolve complex problems Project planning and management skills Previous financial industry experience preferred Interested?
