Title: LPN – Behavioral Health
Job Type: Direct Hire / Permanent Hire
Setting: Treatment Center / Behavioral Health
Location: West Nashville, TN (Whites Bend area)
Work Schedule: Fri-Sun; Nights/Weekends only: 8P-8A (36hrs/wk)
Pay: Up to $23/hr plus full benefits package with generous time off!
The LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse will perform direct patient care to behavioral health patients suffering from substance abuse, eating disorders, and/or a wide range of mental health conditions. Duties will include:
– Collect and document client history and vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration’s, temperature) daily and as needed
– Observing clients self-administer their own medication as ordered, monitor doses and client response
– Assist clients with minor physical complaints and/or injuries with OTC medication as well as minor wound care as needed
– Collect urine drug screens and client weights as directed, document and report results
REQUIREMENTS:
– LPN license in the state of Tennessee (or compact state)
– 5 years of total nursing experience
– 2 years of nursing experience in a related setting such as: behavioral health, psych, or mental health
– Exposure working with patients with: substance abuse disorder, eating disorders, and/or mental health conditions preferred
– Residential setting experience is a plus
– Valid BLS certification
