Unit Name:  Smoky Mountain Sportservice

Reports to:  Controller

Union/Non-Union:  Non

Pay Range:  $12.00

Shift/Hours Required:  All Major Events

Age Requirement (if applic):  18 years of Age

 

Position Summary

Under the general direction of the Controller, reviews cashier transactions throughout the event; organizing and compiling all documentation on a timely basis and ensuring its completion and accuracy in accordance with the Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards, applicable Operational Standards and audit procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Audits cash draws during the event in various locations throughout the venue
• Verifies accuracy of cash expected vs. actual cash
• Responsible for effectively communicating concerns and/or related issues to all levels of management and supervisors Ensures that sufficient change fund is on hand
• Checks all post-event stand sheets and required paperwork and ensures all required documentation is submitted and/or returned to proper locations
• Assists in the Cashroom for events on an as-needed basis
• Must be able to work 4pm until 12am or later

Non-essential Functions:

• Performs other duties as assigned

 

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year cash handling experience required; banking experience preferred
• High school graduate or GED required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Must be able to pass an annual background/credit check
• Strong mathematical abilities
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Knowledge of the functions of a computer, cash register, coin and currency counters

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Constant standing, lifting, climbing stairs and repetitive motions

 

Environmental Working Conditions:

• May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on the season
