Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Controller, reviews cashier transactions throughout the event; organizing and compiling all documentation on a timely basis and ensuring its completion and accuracy in accordance with the Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards, applicable Operational Standards and audit procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Audits cash draws during the event in various locations throughout the venue
- Verifies accuracy of cash expected vs. actual cash
- Responsible for effectively communicating concerns and/or related issues to all levels of management and supervisors Ensures that sufficient change fund is on hand
- Checks all post-event stand sheets and required paperwork and ensures all required documentation is submitted and/or returned to proper locations
- Assists in the Cashroom for events on an as-needed basis
- Must be able to work 4pm until 12am or later
Non-essential Functions:
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year cash handling experience required; banking experience preferred
- High school graduate or GED required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to pass an annual background/credit check
- Strong mathematical abilities
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of the functions of a computer, cash register, coin and currency counters
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- Constant standing, lifting, climbing stairs and repetitive motions
Environmental Working Conditions:
- May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on the season
