Our healthcare client in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to handle all aspects of employee relations beginning with recruitment and administers employee payroll, worker’s compensation, health, welfare, benefit and retirement plans. Benefit programs include: 40l(k) Retirement Plan, medical/dental/vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, supplemental insurance and health savings programs. Acts as the liaison between employee and insurance providers to resolve benefit related problems and ensure effective utilization of plans. Ensures plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and plan provisions are followed. Act as a trusted source for employee counseling regarding employee development, career planning, issues and concerns. This position reports directly to the President/ CEO. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Education/Experience •3 to 5 years’ experience in an HR Generalist role. •Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration preferred. Licensure/Certification •PHR, SPHR or SHRM certification preferred Job-related Skills •Must be dependable to report to work at the scheduled time and is seldom absent from work. Must have demonstrated experience in the principles and practices of personnel administration. •Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be proficient the Microsoft Office Suite. •Excellent interpersonal skills.
