We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Database Consultant/Engineer to join our team to ensure and improve the scalability, stability, availability and operation of our Database Infrastructure. Requirements: Extensive experience with Oracle multitenancy including the management and maintenance of container and pluggable databases. Experience automating, scripting and streamlining processes for efficiency and accuracy utilizing power shell scripting or other scripting tools. Extensive experience in the art of performance tuning, utilizing OEM or third-party tools to finely tune objects and partitions, advanced stats gathering. Comprehensive understanding of Oracle 19c ,18c and 12c optimizer behavior and Oracle 19c new features, etc. Extensive experience with scheduling and utilizing ASH/AWR/ADDM reports and taking corrective actions. Extensive experience with implementation and maintenance of Disaster Recovery environments using Data Guard. Experience with Red Hat Linux and Windows Operating Systems. Comprehensive understanding of Oracle backup methodologies, their implementation via GUI as well as scripts. Extensive experience with setup and scheduling of RMAN backups as well as successful database restores. Experience with the development of architectural and functional process diagrams for Oracle database services. Experience with designing and implementing ETLs. Experience with Oracle spatial a plus. A strong communicator who can explain complex technical concepts to DBAs and other technical resources. A team player who enjoys helping team members, mentoring, and teaching others. Must have extensive experience with all components within an integrated Oracle platform (12c and above) and be able to install, configure, patch, and upgrade them without requiring external support.
