Service Desk Analyst

Position Overview for the Service Desk Technician:

  • Troubleshoot hardware/software (PCs, Printers, Microsoft, Excel, etc.) issues via phone and email
  • Perform password resets and resolve locked accounts
  • Respond to requests from end users and escalate issues requiring urgent attention
  • Explain technical topics and instructions to non-technical users
  • Utilize ticketing system to log and escalate issues
  • Track and log all necessary information
  • Stay up to date with system information and changes
  • Required Skills for the Service Desk Technician:

    • 2+ years of professional Technical Support experience
    • 2+ years of experience in a Windows OS, enterprise level environment
    • Strong troubleshooting skills of computer hardware, software, and phone issues
    • Ticketing system experience (preferably ServiceNow)
    • Experience troubleshooting issues over the phone and via email
    • Great communication and customer service skills
    • Must have excellent multitasking and typing skills
    • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
    • Certifications are preferred (A+, MCSE, MCP, etc.)
