Mid-Level Java Developer This position will be based in Nashville, TN . Job Responsibilities: With limited guidance performs defect correction (analysis, design, code) on less complex issues and/or codes applications of medium complexity. Works with more tenured peers to gain understanding of systems while conducting root cause analysis of issues, reviewing new and existing code and/or performing unit testing. Creates system documentation/play books and attends requirements, design and code reviews. Receives work packages from manager and/or delegates. Understands and assists in gathering and analyzing customer requirements and may respond to outages following the appropriate processes. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree OR four additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree. 3 to 5 years of software engineering/development experience utilizing Java with experience working with Web Services REST 3 years’ experience with HTML, CSS, and Java Script Preferred: 3 years’ experience in REST frameworks with focus on API development 3 years’ experience in AGILE methodology 3 years’ experience integrating with ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA, etc), JDBC. 3 years’ experience in relational database design and optimization with Oracle and SQL Server 3 years’ experience with Weblogic or Tomcat application servers. Experience using GIT Source Code Control Experience with Microsoft ASP.Net is a plus. Experience developing mobile applications for IOS and Android is a plus. – provided by Dice
