The Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in the preparation, filling, and delivery of medications in a timely manner.
Compounds sterile and non-sterile pharmaceuticals.
This includes but is not limited to total parenteral nutrition (TPN), and IV admixtures.
Also delivers and refills automated dispensing machines accurately.
Runs reports as needed to ensure proper inventory within automated dispensing cabinets.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Certification & Licensures details Active pharmacy technician license/ registration in the state of Tennessee required.
Current pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) required.
Additional experience requirements Minimum 12 months pharmacy technician experience required.
Sterile compounding experienced required.
Work Schedule: Full time, Weekdays, evenings, weekends, rotating shifts and holidays as necessary.PandoLogic.
