RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Project Coordinator in Nashville, Tennessee (TN).
Essential Duties:
* Defines project success criteria and disseminates them to involved business and IT parties throughout project life cycle
* Oversees agile software development lifecycle including user requirements, development and testing timelines
* Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
* Uses agile methodologies and metrics to measure and improve system’s development performance
* Develop and present full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
* Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
* Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
* Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
* Actively seeks out and acts on opportunities for PM process improvement using a combination of industry experience and Lean activities (Kaizen events and workgroups)
* Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
* Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
* Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
* Builds and maintains strong relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved with the project
* Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
* Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
* Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
* Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
* Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
* Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University and 5 or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Full understanding of Agile software development practices
* Full understanding of Revenue Cycle Management processes and underlying business needs
* Able to coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
* Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
* Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem- solving capabilities
* Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
* Flexible during times of change
* Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines
* Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
* Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills
* Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
* Must provide own insured transportation to and from work as well as to other outside locations based on job needs
