E-Learning Technologist

Corizon’s Training and Organizational Development Team is transitioning from Torch to Absorb LMS in 2020! As the eLearning Technologist you will be responsible for creating Corizon Health’s digital learning approach and content and serving as the learning management system administrator.
You will serve as the point person for learning technology inquiries and provide thought leadership on Learning Management System (LMS) design and configuration decisions. You will create and implement plans to upgrade, enhance and improve courses to develop an interactive, learning-rich experience for our employees.
Working closely with the Training and Organizational Development Team, you will identify learning, topics, and content appropriate to transition to an eLearning platform. Through the use of outlines and storyboards, you will draft content and test out ideas and approaches for review and agreement as a pre-step to development work, including: Video production to include eLearning vignettes and stand-alone video material.Audio production and editing for eLearning and Corizon Radio Podcast.Design and implement activities within course content to strengthen retention and application of skills and knowledge. Measure learning transfer and make recommendations to improve results.Develop and execute existing and new approaches to e-learning. The eLearning Technologist will be responsible for transitioning recorded learning events into trackable courses. Such as: Review, evaluate and modify / enhance existing and proposed e-learning programs and courses; recommend and implement program / course changes.Conduct research / literature reviews to identify new information, best practices, case studies etc. to enhance Corizon learning processes and programs; identify opportunities to reuse / repurpose content already developed.Serve as LMS administrator throughout conversion from Torch LMS to Absorb LMS (January 2020). Leverage LMS capability to track, monitor, and measure e-learning effectiveness including vendor provided courses.Review current Corizon developed e-learning content on a regular schedule to ensure it is up-to-date and reflects best learning practices. You will serve as the eLearning/digital subject matter expert, SME, and work collaboratively with our clinical education team (Health Service Administrator, Director of Nursing, Healthcare Support) to advise and identify external vendors to assist in the creation of high-quality digital training materials that achieve the desired learning outcomes.
Comprising: Confer with management and employees to gain knowledge of region, site, or function-specific situations requiring training; develop / implement / conduct specialized training programs to meet these needs.Participate in special training and development projects and initiatives as assigned.Contribute to development and communication of role based curriculum. Introduce methods to reinforce training and development initiatives to increase companywide knowledge of our business / industry, and to support ongoing skill development
Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Education or related major required. Certifications and/or coursework relating to e-learning/digital content design and/or learning management system administration is highly desired. 3 years experience of relevant experience; LMS administration, eLearning developer, digital media, multi-media specialist required. 2+ years and advanced capability with e-learning authoring software such as Articulate, Captivate, Storyline, Lectora.Intermediate to advance ability in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel). Demonstrated ability to produce and edit audio and video files.Ability to create storyboards to effectively present training concepts and approaches.Demonstrated ability to research, synthesize, and analyze information from diverse sources and translate into a cohesive digital learning experience. Ability to apply sound instructional design principles. Must appropriately respond to stressful issues and situations.Travel may be required.Corizon Health.
