IT Support Specialist

Description

The IT Support Specialist will provide remote and occasional on-site support for clients and internal teams working with our company. At least 2 years of hands-on expeirence is desired for this role with an understanding of client needs and the patience and ability to either fix the issue or escalate it to a higher manager. This role will involve basic helpdesk supoort along with in-face client support.

Essential Functions

1. Answering inbound calls
2. Troubleshooting and administration of Windows and MAC based applications, Operating Systems (Desktop and Server) and Server Roles (AD DS, DHCP, DNS, DFS, Print Server, File Server)
3. Virus remediation
4. MFP/Scanner/Fax troubleshooting
5. Initial Citrix/Cisco troubleshooting, including roles and basic connectivity
6. RDS environments
7. Work includes occasional weekend or after hours time, when necessary
8. Serve in on-call rotation

Typical Work Day Includes

1. Workstation hardware issues
2. Password issues
3. Server hardware issues
4. Infrastructure issues
5. Hosted application issues (Office 365, Reflexion, Symantec, etc.)
6. Backup verification and troubleshooting (Veeam, Replibit, eFolder, ShadowProtect)
7. Line of Business application issues (work with vendor) and patch management for supported clients

2+ years in an IT Support or Help Desk role, Active Directory, Windows Administration, MAC Administration, understanding of IT Networking
